Watching "This is England" the other night with a group of friends -- opening scenes set the year as 1983 (think Boy George...)
So I ask ...
"How old were all of you in 1983?"
One person was 5.
The rest hadn't been born.
Sigh.
P.S. Mom -- it's not a documentary -- it's a film about skinhead subculture in England in the early 80's. Really well done, great soundtrack, but not a "Mom" movie :-)
