I was standing outside the church today with friends, following a memorial service for one of the retired ministers in the parish. It wasn't snowing -- clear -- but very crisp!
So one friend just flew in yesterday from California -- went from 80 degrees there to less than 40 degrees here. And being in California, he's been surrounded with all the talk of the election, including the discussion of the redistribution of wealth.
'I'll tell you what' -- he says, after noting the difference in temperature between Northern California and the Northeast of Scotland -- 'there is an unfair distribution of WARMTH in the world.'
We decided we'd all vote for the candidate whose platform includes the redistribution of warmth.
